As a veteran, a mother and factory worker, I’m really angry at the record of my congressman, Bruce Poliquin.

This year, he’s voted to give tax breaks to millionaires and giant corporations, while supporting cuts to critical safety programs like SNAP that our seniors, kids and veterans depend on.

I worked so hard to pass health care reform, and it pains me to see my own congressman try to dismantle the Affordable Care Act.

On the other hand, I’ve seen Jared Golden fight for me and my neighbors. He’s worked in the Legislature for Medicaid expansion, worker rights, education funding, general assistance. I know that when in Congress Jared Golden will serve the needs of the people of Maine, not Wall Street billionaires.

Bruce Poliquin is divisive and he appeals to us-versus-them thinking.

I’ve seen Jared Golden bring people together and that’s what we need in Congress.
