POLAND — George Herbert Ross, 61, of Poland passed away Monday, June 18, at his home.

He was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Oct. 27, 1956, the youngest son of the late Stewart and Florence Ross

George held various manufacturing jobs throughout his life in Maine and New Hampshire. He loved to fish, and it was tough to beat him at a game of cribbage. With his crooked smile and happy-go-lucky spirit, he lived his life enjoying good times with good friends and never looking back.

George is survived by his special friend, Linda Patten, of Poland; daughters, Amy, Nicole and Melissa; brother, Stewart Ross, and wife, Jeanne, of Bridgton; sister, Edna Olmstead, and husband, Rex, of Oxford; niece, Sarah Ross, of Acton, Mass.; and nephews Bruce Ross of Bridgton and Eric Ross of Norway.

He was predeceased by his parents, Stewart and Florence Ross.
