LEWISTON — Paulette P. Burpee, 85, died Monday, July 9, after a lingering illness. She was born Sept. 22, 1932 in Lewiston to William and Roseanna Nadeau.
She attended Lewiston Schools and married the love of her life, Bernard Burpee, in 1952, only to lose her husband to a military accident in 1953.
Paulette worked her entire career at the Pineland Center before retiring in the ‘90s.
She enjoyed gardening, shopping, eating out and taking care of her cat, Pollyanna.
She was predeceased by her parents and all of her siblings. Paulette is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
