I support Jess Fay’s re-election. She represents House District 66, parts of Raymond, Casco and Poland.

Rep. Fay worked across the aisle throughout her term. She listens to her constituents and is not an ideologue, as often appears to be the current vogue in state capitals around the U.S. She had three bills signed by the governor — not bad for a freshman legislator.

That included a bill allowing first responders to render aid to injured working and service animals — a suggestion made to her by a constituent who saw a need. Another suggestion by her resulted in a bill protecting purchasers in subdivisions regarding public road access.

As a member of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee, she is a strong voice for the protection of Maine’s natural resources. Lakes and other related resources are crucial to the local economy.

Rep. Fay is active, approachable and a locally visible representative.
