Izabel and Reese Wales

NORWAY — Izabel Audrey Earle, the daughter of Glenn Earle of Oxford and JoHanna Shaw of Mechanic Falls, and Reese David Wales, the son of Jay and Renee Wales of Norway, were united in marriage June 2, 2018, at the First Universalist Church of South Paris. Marilyn Hammond, lay minister, was the officiant.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and wore a white classic off-the-shoulder cowl-neck gown and carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas and lavender roses made by the mother of the groom. Abigail Earle, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Destiny Powell, a friend of the bride; Kristina Shaw, aunt of the bride; and Rose Bezio and Heidi Ortiz, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Brookelin Hall, cousin, and Ayla Giannetti, friend.

Alex Petrovich served as best man for his friend. Ushers included Tristan Kilgore, cousin of the bridegroom; Elijah Wales, brother of the groom; and Ryan Couchman and George Yeaton, friends of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was landon Herrick, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at the Otisfield Community Hall on Route 121. After a wedding trip to North Conway, New Hampshire, the couple is residing in Norway.

The bride is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and earned an associate degree in human services at Central Maine Community College. She is employed at the Progress Center in Norway as a human resources assistant.

The bridegroom is also a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is employed as a florist at Key Floral in Oxford.
