PARIS — Paris River Park, 1 Paris Hill Road, is being developed for recreational use by Paris residents and visitors.

An informational kiosk will soon be on site with maps and information regarding paddling the Little Androscoggin. Restroom facilities are available.

Recreation opportunities here will include picnicing, fishing, kayaking and canoing or wildlife watching.

Monthly Paddles will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12. A representative of the committee will be on hand to answer questions and provide directions for safe paddling. Participants should bring a kayak or canoe.
