UPTON — A parade, a children’s carnival, an auction and cake and ice cream are all part of Upton Fun Day on Saturday, Aug. 18.
The festivities begin at 7 a.m. with Breakfast-to-Go in Upton Ladies Aid Building.
The 9:30 a.m. parade will line up at Pat Kenyon’s home at 142 Thistle St., while walkers will assemble at Lake View Road.
The remaining schedule is:
• 10 a.m., Merchandise and food vendors, and children’s carnival on Mill Road.
• 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Upton Historical Society display, second floor of Upton Schoolhouse. Ongoing demonstrations by local artisans.
• 1 p.m., Cake and ice cream at the Upton Ladies Aid Building. Raffle drawing, no need to be present to win.
• 2 to 3 p.m., Chinese Auction viewing and ticket sales at Pat Kenyon’s barn, 142 Thistle St.
• 3 p.m., Auction, must be present to win.
