LEWISTON — Min St. Pierre truly enjoyed a full and happy life of 81 years until Aug. 13, when she joined her beloved husband, Philippe, who greeted her with a dance, a pat on the bum and told her how beautiful she was.

Min was born in Lewiston on Feb. 13, 1937, the daughter of Lucien and Antoinette (Robitaille) Morin. She attended Holy Cross Elementary and, later, St. Dominic Regional High School. In her youth, she enjoyed piano and dance classes. At the age of 19, she met the love of her life, Philippe St. Pierre Jr. They were married on July 4, 1957, at Saints Peter & Paul Basilica. Min and Phil enjoyed a great life together, whether it was going out dancing, having family over for a bean supper or boiled dinner, or just going to the beach with the kids.

Life revolved around family, friends and working hard to support their young family. Min started out with various jobs at Raytheon, MIS and various banking/payroll positions at Northeast Bank, Fleet Bank and many years at Advantage Payroll/Paychex. Although Min made many great friends throughout those years, she was happy to finally retire in 2008 at the age of 71.

Through the years, the things Min enjoyed the most were going dancing on the weekends and playing cards with great friends. Later, she made multiple trips to see the bright lights in Vegas with her Golden Girls, Simone and Lucille, where she loved playing slots and seeing many amazing shows. Foxwoods was another of her favorite destinations, as well as trips to Florida to visit family. Some of her hobbies included reading, doing puzzles, watching or attending Bruins games, helping her daughter at the salon with Scentsy and playing bunco with all her Bunco Babes. Staying healthy and active was important to Min so she spent many hours at the Y at CMMC, and doing yoga/Fit for Life at the Dempsey Center where she made good friends. Her many breakfast and lunch dates with friends was also something she enjoyed. Over the years, she loved her furry friends beginning with the family dog, Tippy, and then her granddogs Duchess, Brandon, Nika and Little Mocha.

Survivors include her son, Gerard St. Pierre, of Lewiston; daughter, Lorraine, and her husband, Norm Caron, of Buckfield; son, John St. Pierre, and his wife, Michelle, of Lewiston; sister, Jacqueline (Morin) Martin, of Sabattus; many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Philippe St. Pierre Jr.; brothers Normand, Rosaire and Fernand Morin; and sister, Simone Barriault.
