An Auburn woman had to be removed through the windshield of her car Sunday morning after the automobile went off Witham Road in Auburn and hit a utility pole. Police said the driver, Sandra Baxby, 67, might have fallen asleep. Sgt. Gary Boulet of the Auburn Police Department said the accident looked bad, but Baxby was OK. Boulet said Baxby was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. (Russ Dillingham/Sun Journal)
