What is happening to Brett Kavanaugh is a travesty. The opposition is sifting through whatever chaff they can find to discredit that man with things that may or may not have happened when he was an immature youth at a drunken party.

If these accusers were so innocent, what were they doing at such parties? Was their behavior exemplary?

How soon Democrats forget the sexual antics of their poster boy — the relatively recent president that defiled the Oval Office during his presidency when he was supposed to be a mature adult. Where was the outrage of the “me too” movement over that?

That people would attempt to destroy someone they fear might disagree with them, regardless of his career record as an adult, is despicable. The same kind of despicability of those who have tried to get their way by threatening, badgering and attempting to bribe a U.S. senator into voting against Kavanaugh.

Their self-serving behavior is abhorrent and shows no moral compass.

In this country, a person is supposed to be considered innocent until proven guilty, not convicted before going to trial. If the nation’s leaders are going to allow themselves to be pressured into capitulating to those of that ilk, God help this country.
