NORWAY — Each year, Norway Savings Bank employees participate in a Wellness Challenge to encourage healthy eating, exercise and other positive behaviors. This year, the prize for the top three teams was a donation of $250 to the nonprofit of their choice.
The winning teams and associated nonprofits were:
Safe Voices — chosen by Deposit Operations and Retail Support. Safe Voices is a Lewiston-based organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women who are affected by domestic violence.
Cabin in the Woods — chosen by Human Resources, Finance and Facilities. Cabin in the Woods is a supportive rural community of 21 cabins at Togus VA Medical Center, which provides permanent housing to homeless veterans and their families.
Ronald McDonald House — chosen by Retail Lending Center and Audit. Ronald McDonald House is a place for families to call home when they have a child undergoing treatment at one of Portland’s hospitals.
