RSU 26-34 Adult Education, in conjunction with AmeriCorps will be sponsoring a free, one-night energy savings workshop on Thursday, October 18 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Old Town High School.
You will learn simple, low cost ways to save energy and lower your monthly utility bills. Instructors will show you how to get free energy efficient supplies and earn rebates on products. Folks who attend this workshop will take home with them valuable information as well as a free bag of energy saving supplies. Light refreshments will also be served.
The Maine Partnership for Environmental Stewardship and Maine Campus Compact are also supporting this program.
As part of this program, information also will be offered on how local families can receive free home energy audits as well as free heat-saving window inserts.
Because space is limited, please contact 866-4119 or www.riversideadultedpartnership.com to save a place in the class or to get more information about the free energy audits and window inserts.
