LEWISTON — The Calvary United Methodist Church will hold its monthly bean supper at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13. The menu will consist of baked beans, hot dogs, salads, casseroles, biscuits and pies.

The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children under age 10. Please use the Garden Entrance on Bartlett Street.

PHILLIPS — The Phillips Community of Christian Women will again cook up their annual chicken supper, to be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the Phillips Elementary School. The traditional menu continues: roast chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, peas, squash, rolls, assorted pies for dessert, and beverage of choice for $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.

OTISFIELD — An old-fashioned boiled dinner will be served at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, 231 Rayville Road, on Saturday, Oct. 13. It will be served in two sittings, at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. All are welcome. Donations are gratefully accepted and support the church activities in the community.

AUBURN — Alden M. Gayton American Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary Unit 31 is hosting a Harvest Supper from 5 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13. Menu includes chicken quarters, roasted vegetables, green beans, rolls, homemade applesauce and homemade desserts. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children. All proceeds go toward helping local veterans.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children age 7 to 12, free for children younger than 7.

MEXICO — A harvest supper will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (the “green church”), 163 Main St. Menu includes ham, vegetables, homemade rolls and pies. An auction will follow the meal. Those who wish to participate may bid on whole pies to take home, a brand new grill, and a variety of gift certificates.
