BRIDGTON — Shawnee Peak invites everyone to their fall festival from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.
The main attraction of this event is the scenic ride to the summit where views extend over the Lakes Region of Maine and toward the Presidential Range of New Hampshire. The base area will be a hub of family friendly activity. There will be pumpkin painting, an inflatable obstacle course, apple cider donuts, live music by Bruce Marshall, a beer garden, lawn games, a scavenger hunt and a hay bale stack for the kids to climb on.
Admission is $15 per adult, $5 for ages 5-12 and includes a chairlift ride and a pumpkin. Age 5 and under is free. Chili, hot dogs and an assortment of drinks and snacks will also be available for purchase.
