A funeral procession for former Auburn Fire Chief Clifton Smith proceeds Wednesday morning down Lisbon Street in Lewiston on its way to Ridge Cemetery in Lisbon. The procession moved from Auburn to Lewiston and then to Lisbon. Smith, a Lewiston native who was a firefighter for 37 years and Auburn chief for 21, died Oct. 18 at the age of 78.
