AUBURN — Skelton Taintor & Abbott attorneys Rebecca Webber and Jordan Payne Hay will present at the National Business Institute seminar Human Resource Law: What You Need to Know Now. The seminar will take place Nov. 7 in Portland.
The daylong workshop is designed for professionals in the human resources field and company presidents and vice presidents. Experienced faculty, including attorneys Webber and Hay, will examine critical legal issues from hiring to firing, including wages and benefits, workplace privacy and discrimination. They will review legislative changes and court decisions that impact human resources and share tips and tactics on how to handle common problem areas.
