RICHMOND, Va. — Chris Ferguson threw four touchdown passes at 16th-ranked Maine defeated Richmond 28-9 on Saturday.
The win guarantees the Black Bears at least a share of the Colonial Athletic Association title, their first conference championship since 2013.
Earnest Edwards caught two of Ferguson’s TD passes, and finished with six receptions for 105 yards.
Maine improves to 7-3 on the season and 6-1 in the CAA.
