Fundraiser to be held for community center

PARIS — A do-it-yourself Christmas book decoration fundraiser is being held at and for the Deering Memorial Community Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30.

For $10 all materials will be provided to create decorations that can make holiday gifts. Refreshments will also be provided.

All proceeds benefit the community center.

Sign up ahead by calling the Paris Public Library at 207-743-6994 so sufficient supplies will be available. Anyone attending this fundraising event will have the opportunity to learn how to make a florist-type bow; if so, bring a roll of ribbon.

FMI: call the Paris Public Library.
