Ron Bergeron will be starting the weekend off this Friday from 8 to 11 p.m. at Pedro O’Hara’s in Lewiston. Ron’s been playing guitar for over 20 years. His goal every show is to entertain the audience as best as he can with his great talent and light-hearted humor. Taking requests from a wide variety of songs including quiet sentimental pop ballads to high-energy rock anthems, country, blues and American standards. No cover. On Saturday, Ragged Jack, pictured here, Maine’s premiere American roots Rockabilly experience, will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight. Combining the powerful percussion of Rumford native Tom the “H-Bomb” Hines, the guitar wizardry of Corey Bonnevie, and the unparalleled bass slapping and acrobatics of the lovely Holly Marie, Ragged Jack combines hillbilly and old school rock to forge the most energetic show Maine has to offer. No cover.
