MILTON – Mr. Bruce Farrar Sr., 65, died on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, at his home, with his loving family by his side following a short illness.

Born in Newport, Vt., on March 23, 1953, he was the son of Stanley and Marjorie (LaCass) Farrar. Bruce worked as a planer operator for PH Chadbourne in Bethel. He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping at the Fryeburg Fair and weekend cookouts.
He was married in Bethel, on June 3, 1972, to Esther Buck, who survives of Milton. Other survivors include two sons, Bruce Farrar Jr. of Rumford and Jeremy Farrar of Rumford, two daughters, Rosemary Bell and husband Curtis of Auburn, N.Y., and Margie Farrar of Milton; brother, Dale Farrar and wife, Sue of Connecticut, three sisters, Rose McMann of Connecticut, Brenda Farrar of Rumford, and Mary Farrar of Rumford; six grandchildren and one on the way; and five great-grandchildren and one on the way. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Ronald and Stanley.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St., P. O. Box 537, Rumford. Interment in the spring will be in the Abbott Mills Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12-2 p.m. prior to the funeral.
