LEWISTON — Lewiston Youth Council panel discussion titled Police Insider: True Blue, 7 p.m., Council Chamber of City Hall. Lewiston police officers will talk about their experiences and reasons for serving.

THURSDAY, Nov. 29

LEWISTON — Great Falls Forum, noon to 1 p.m., Lewiston Public Library, with Julia Azari, author and associate professor of political science at Marquette University. The talk is titled “What do the 2018 midterms mean?” 

LEWISTON — A talk about the role of Democratic vice presidential candidate Edmund Muskie in 1968, 3:30 p.m., Edmund S. Muskie Archives, Bates College, 70 Campus Ave. Speakers include author Joel Goldstein and former key Muskie staffer Don Nicoll. Muskie graduated from Bates in 1936. Free admission.

LEWISTON — City Council workshop, 6 p.m., Council Chamber in City Hall. Agenda: Discussion of police and criminal justice issues with District Attorney Andrew Robinson.
