LEWISTON — New England Super Lawyers has named 10 Berman & Simmons attorneys to its 2018 directory, a Thomson Reuters publication that recognizes the top 5 percent of lawyers for individual excellence in their practice areas.

Attorneys Michael Bigos, Benjamin Gideon, Daniel Kagan, Jodi Nofsinger, Steven Silin and Julian Sweet were recognized as “Super Lawyers” for excellence in representing clients in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Each were named to the list last year, and Attorney Silin for 11 consecutive years.

In addition, attorneys Timothy Kenlan, Travis Brennan, Taylor Asen and Elizabeth Kayatta were named “Rising Stars.”

Berman & Simmons employs 19 attorneys and more than 40 staff members at offices in Lewiston, Portland and Bangor.
