Madeleine LeBlanc, 94, says hello to a friend Monday after singing Christmas songs in French with the Les Troubadours at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston. LeBlanc is a past member of the Les Troubadours, but has not performed with the group since moving to d’Youville Pavilion. LeBlanc was invited to sing with her old friends during their French sing-a-long at d’Youville, where LeBlanc lives. LeBlanc said she sang for years with the church choir at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, but is unable to do so now. “It’s one of the things I miss the most,” LeBlanc said. LeBlanc was born in Lewiston in 1924. (Daryn Slover/Sun Journal)
