AUBURN — A passenger involved in a collision between two pickup trucks Monday night on Minot Avenue remained in fair condition at a Lewiston hospital Tuesday, according to a hospital spokesman.

David Hodgkin, 48, whose hometown was not immediately available, was being treated at Central Maine Medical Center where he was in fair condition, a spokesman said Tuesday night.

A police report said Hodgkin was riding with Timothy Miles, 40, 18 Huntington Ave. in Norway. He was taken to the hospital but was no longer listed there Tuesday night, a spokesman said.

Miles was headed east on Minot Avenue when Robert Pierson, 65, of 4 Spruce Lane in Falmouth failed to yield the right of way to him when leaving the Lil’ Mart parking lot at 828 Minot Ave. about 6:20 p.m., according to the report.

Pierson was discharged from CMMC on Tuesday, a spokesman said.

Miles’ 1999 Dodge and Pierson’s 2019 Toyota were towed from the scene.
