TURNER – Matthew R. Lavoie, 20, of Turner, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 24, 2018.

A beloved son to Shawn and Carey Lavoie and Linsey Lemasters, Matthew was born on Jan. 25, 1998 in Lewiston. He was a 2016 high school graduate at Leavitt Area High School, a soon to be dad, and an amazing brother, uncle, cousin, boyfriend, friend, and person to anyone he ever met.

Matthew was the type of person who could make you smile, no matter what kind of day you were having. He would give the shirt off his back and always go without, to make sure others were happy. Matthew enjoyed working, hanging out with family and friends, fixing cars, riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes, dippin’ aka packin’ hammas’, hunting, and his favorite thing of all, fishing. Matthew had a one of a kind personality and an absolutely breathtaking smile. He is loved and miss by so many people, and not a moment goes by that his entire family isn’t thinking of him and that goofy laugh of his. Every moment we had with Matt, we, as a family, will cherish forever. It’s never “goodbye”, only “till we see you again”. We love you Matthew Roger. Forever and always in our hearts. Gone but never, ever forgotten. – Your family

A service will be held Sunday January 6, at 2:30 p.m., at the Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, 62 Strawberry Ave., in Lewiston.
