LIVERMORE FALLS – Marjorie A. Rose, 70, of Livermore Falls, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at her home. She was born August 13, 1948, in Pueblo, Colo., the daughter of Steven King and Marjorie M. (Lowe) King.

She received her High School Equivalency Certificate Sept. 29, 1975. On March 20, 1978, in Wayne, Maine, she married her husband of 40 years, Robert Lewis Rose of Livermore. She proudly served in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1987. She was member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Through the years Marjorie had worked as an administrative secretary and also enjoyed working in her yard landscaping and planting flowers before becoming disabled.
She is survived by her husband Robert L. Rose of Livermore Falls; her daughter, Marjorie M. Friddle of Washington State; and her sister, Barbara Summers of California and their dear friends the Moody Family from Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her parents.
Funeral services with full military honors will be held 2 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 1, at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 163 Mount Vernon Rd., Augusta, Maine.
