LISBON FALLS — Tom and Karen Whitney of Lisbon Falls announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Marilyn Whitney, to Connor Alden Joy, son of Alden and Allyson Joy of Windham.
The future bride is a 2012 graduate of Lisbon High School, a 2016 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a 2018 graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a master’s degree in human development and family studies with a concentration in couple and family therapy. She is a senior clinical therapist for an agency in Rhode Island.
The future groom is a 2012 graduate of Windham High School and a 2016 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor of arts degree in outdoor recreation business administration. He works for Siteone Landscape Supply in Warwick, Rhode Island.
The couple met in December of 2012 in their freshman year at the University of Maine at Farmington.
The wedding is set for June 2020 at the Stage Neck Inn in York.
