NORWAY – In the early morning hours of Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, left us after a long illness. Born in Woodstock, she was the daughter of Lyman and Viola Wing. She grew up in the Woodstock/Bryant Pond area, attending local schools later getting her G.E.D. from SAD #17.

Although she worked at various area shoe shops, she invested her life as a homemaker. She married Richard Mayberry on Dec. 5, 1964 and they made their home on Round the Pond Road in Norway, for over 50 years.

Trish was very proud of her Native American (Abenaki) heritage and enjoyed going to pow-wows and other functions with Richard.

She was also a big country music fan. She and Richard enjoyed going to the many Saturday night dances in the area. Taking a drive on the backroads of Western Maine was another favorite activity.

Her health required her to reside for the past couple of years at Ledgeview Nursing Home and Market Square. At both facilities she was treated with respect and given wonderful care. Each and every day Richard spent the entire day with her, supporting her through the journey.

Trish is survived by husband, Richard; grandson, Trevor Buck (Lisa); and other extended family.

She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Lyman and sister, Priscilla; son, Floyd Buck; and an infant son, Richard Mayberry.

Per Patricia’s request, there will be no services. Her burial will take place in the spring at Webber Brook Cemetery.
