MINOT — Dan Gilpatric and Stephen French were re-elected for three-year terms on the Board of Selectmen in Friday’s annual elections. Gilpatric received 36 votes and French garnered 35.

Laura Hemond and Steve Holbrook were also re-elected to three-year terms on the Regional School Unit 16 board. Each received 36 votes.

The annual town meeting is set for 9 a.m. Saturday at Minot Consolidated School, 23 Shaw Hill Road.

Among the warrant articles is one asking voters to raise up to $425,000 plus interest to replace a fire engine pumper truck. The article also asks for a five-year bond to pay for replacing the decommissioned 1994 Engine 8 pumper.

The Board of Selectmen and the Budget Committee recommend passage of the article.

This year’s proposed municipal budget is $1.64 million.
