A Bethel woman suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon in a chain-reaction accident on Route 2 near Stony Brook Drive in Hanover. A tractor-trailer driven by Shawn Wheeler, 61, of Hanover struck a 2002 Chevrolet pickup operated by Wyatt Long, 22, of Bethel, according to Chief Deputy James Urquhart of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office. Long’s pickup then hit a 1991 Volvo driven by Chandler Wright, 62, of Hanover. Long’s passenger, Lacey Cote, 25, of Bethel suffered minor injuries and was taken by Med-Care Ambulance to Rumford Hospital, Rumford Fire Chief Chris Reed said. The crash was under investigation.
