PHOTO/VIDEO: Buses used to congratulate 2020 graduates
Hudson Bus Lines/STA honors graduates of Lewiston High School and Edward Little High School by using 22 buses to create a giant "2020" at the Androscoggin Bank Colisée parking lot in Lewiston.
School buses from the Hudson Bus Lines/STA terminal are parked Tuesday afternoon at the Androscoggin Bank Colisée in Lewiston to send a tribute to this year’s graduates of Lewiston High School and Edward Little High School. Peter Ouellette, manager of the bus terminal, said he came across an aerial photograph showing how another bus company had done this, and he thought it a great way for him and his drivers to congratulate and say goodbye to local students, whose senior years were affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Ouellette contacted school officials, who also liked the “bus” tribute to the 2020 graduates of the Twin Cities’ high schools. Both schools graduate Saturday at the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport.
