Michael “Keith” Davis, life member of VFW Post 1603, Auburn, was elected state commander, Department of Maine, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was installed on June 20 at the Fireside Inn, Auburn, for the 2020-2021 year. Davis served as Post 1603 commander, District 9 commander and is serving his home Post 1603 as quartermaster. Davis is a retired U.S. Navy veteran. His theme for the year is “Communication, Dedication, Service.” Veterans who have served overseas and received a combat medal/ribbon may join the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
