AUBURN — Linnell, Choate & Webber has hired Haley K. Hunter to join the law firm as an associate. Hunter will concentrate her practice in the areas of criminal defense, family law, juvenile law, protections from abuse/harassment and general civil litigation.
She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She received her juris doctor degree cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law where she was on the dean’s list every semester, a James Roux Fellow, a Casenote and Comment Editor for the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal and received the Criminal Law and Procedure Award, which is presented to a member of the graduating class for outstanding work in the subject of criminal law and procedure.
Hunter is a member of the Maine State Bar Association. She is originally from Caribou and resides in Southern Maine.
