Erlon C. Danforth
AUBURN – Erlon C. Danforth, 84, a long-time resident of Wales, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021. He was born on Oct. 7, 1936, the son of Arthur Danforth Sr. and Edith (Burgess) Danforth. Erlon attended Litchfield Schools.
On Jan. 9, 1957 he married Nancy G. Ivers. She passed away in 2008. He was the owner and operator of Danforth Furniture for 47 years.
Erlon enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling and spending time with family.
He is survived by his son, Gary and his wife Melody Danforth of Wales; three grandchildren, Gary Danforth Jr., Patricia Tremblay and Andrea Sloan; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. He was predeceased by his parents; his loving wife, Nancy Danforth, a brother, Arthur Danforth, Jr. and a sister, Evelyn Webster.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Valley Cemetery Route 202 Greene, Maine.
