MONMOUTH – Flossie D. Obie, 70, of Monmouth, entered eternal rest on March 2, 2021.

Born to Clyde and Laura Libby of Greene on Sept. 7, 1950. She had previously resided in Lowell, Mass. for 23 years.

She is survived by her daughters Heidi Francis and husband George of Maine, and Tina Obie and partner Mike of Massachusetts; sisters Edie Duprey of Texas, Doris Wagner of Washington, Gail Libby and wife Donna of Maine and brother, Joe of Maine. She leaves her grandchildren, Ashley Whitmore, Brittnay Gauthier, David Obie, Cortney Curtis, Alexander Coolidge, Alexa Eaton, Randi Rote, Daniel St.Cyr and Alena Greenhalgh. She also leaves her two great-granddaughters Genavieve Whitmore and Marissa Eaton; also many nieces and nephews; and a dear friend Roger.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Alfred; daughter, Tammie of Maine; granddaughter Bethany of Massachusetts; sisters Marilyn Ward of North Carolina, Mary Libby of Maine, Patricia Libby of Maine, brothers Lauren Libby of Maine and Dwayne Libby Illinois.
