Elizabeth “Betty” Fitzherbert

AUBURN – Elizabeth “Betty” Fitzherbert, 84, passed away peacefully Thursday morning on May 13, 2021, with family by her side where she resided in Auburn, as a resident of Clover Manor.

Betty was known for her beautiful smile, her love of life and family, and let’s not forget humming and coloring. She had so much love to share with everyone and anyone. If you were walking by her and looked at her for more than an instant, you would likely become her lifelong friend. The resilience Betty embodied was beyond what most could imagine and she had many medical battles over the past years that she overcame with such determination. The past year has been no different for her since moving into Clover Manor as a long term care resident on the day they went on lockdown. The staff at Clover can’t be thanked enough for the love and caring they poured into mom when we weren’t allowed to be there due to Covid.

Mom was blessed with a beautiful roommate who loved mom and helped to make the past year a little easier on her. Mom had a way of making people become a better version of themselves, she was a true inspiration to a countless number of people and will continue to be as she lives on in all our hearts.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Ken and daughter, Tammy.

She is survived by her sons, Rick and Ken, her daughter Diane, grandchildren, Tanya, Toni, Cara, Luke, Kristina, Andrew, Sierra, Lindsey, great grandchildren Hakan, Gavin, Mason, Aiyana, Carson, Chloe, Jace and Jackson and her sister, Toni. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m., at Pathway Vineyard Church in Lewiston.
