Janet I. Gosselin
AUBURN – Janet I. Gosselin, 74, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 22, 2021.She was born on March 14, 1947 in Berlin, N.H. to Robert and Eva Girard. She graduated from Berlin High School in 1966.She married Dennis Gosselin in 1971 and moved to Jay where they raised their daughters. Janet worked at Ames department store for many years where people knew her as the nice lady with the red hair. They later moved to Auburn where she loved to sit in her sunroom and watch the birds. Janet is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dennis; her two daughters, Laurie Howard and her husband Kurt, Kathy Smith and her husband Chris and her stepdaughter, Sandra Rollins and her husband Eric; and eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved cat, Cupcake; her brother, Ronald Girard and his wife Debby, sister-in-law, Jolene Girard. She was predeceased by her parents; and her brother. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at on June 2 at 11 a.m. at St. Philip Church on Turner Road in Auburn.
