AUBURN – Irene “Dot” B. Webster, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 11, 2021.

Dot was born on July 30, 1935, in Bethel, Maine, and attended Bethel area schools. She worked for many successful years at General Electric, Geiger Brothers, and Clover Manor. As dedicated a worker as Dot was, she loved life and enjoyed many activities including fishing with her late husband, gardening, remodeling her home, Sunday football, rock and roll, crossword puzzles, and being surrounded by family. She took great pride in her home and cooking for family. Her Thanksgiving dinners could have fed an army.

Dot was also a fine mother of three sons, but what brought her such great love and joy was her granddaughter, Jennifer Needham, whom she had a very special bond with.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald John and Randall Scott Needham of Auburn; daughter-in-law, Pamela Penney of Poland; grandchildren, Jennifer Needham of Brattleboro, Vt., Stephanie Lauze of Auburn, and Travis, Troy, and Danielle Webster of New Hampshire; and a number of nieces and nephews including the Blouin and Chase families. She was most recently predeceased by her husband, Blaine F. Webster; sisters, Judy Moody and Arlene Blouin; son, Roger Needham; and daughter-in-law, Yvonne S. Needham.

A special thank you to the Penney family and Marilyn Kane.
