AUBURN — Public meeting and discussion on strip zoning, 5:30 p.m. at the Auburn Senior Community Center. City Planning staff will host a public meeting on proposed rezoning to expand the rural residential and low-density country residential strip zones as part of a plan to promote more residential uses in the areas.

AUBURN — School Committee meeting, 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Auburn Hall.

AUBURN — Cable TV Advisory Board meeting, 4 p.m. via Zoom.
AUBURN — Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport board meeting, 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. Those wishing to attend in person can do so in the community room at Auburn Hall.
FRIDAY, Oct. 8
LEWISTON — Pumpkins in the Park, 10 a.m. at Kennedy Park. Lewiston Recreation and the Lewiston Public Library have organized a morning of fall fun. Children can decorate a pumpkin to take home; earn prizes by playing harvest games; and dive elbow-deep into some pumpkins! A craft table will also be on site. Pumpkins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and can be reserved at www.lewistonrecreation.com or by calling Lewiston Recreation at 513-3005.
