Lewiston Public Library plans to offer a free popcorn-making demonstration to those who drop in during the following times and dates: 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17; and 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at the library located at 200 Lisbon St.
There is no set time to join, and the demonstration takes less than 15 minutes from start to finish. Any popcorn made can be taken home by those who participate.
The library also will have “take and make” popcorn kits for those would like to try it at home. Between Monday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Dec. 18, community members can stop by the library to pick up a kit. Written instructions will be provided as well as a link to an online video tutorial.
Admission is free and no reservations are required.
