Are school districts doing the right thing with mask mandates for students? 

Masks are a proven tool in reducing the spread of COVID-19. But recently, both across the country and in Maine, there’s been a vocal subset of parents that say mask mandates in schools are either ineffective or, on the more extreme end, are child abuse. Parents are showing up at school board meetings in anger, and even the FBI is looking into legitimate threats made to school staff.
