Lois Elaine Knapp
BUCKFIELD – Lois Elaine Knapp, 67, of Buckfield, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday Nov. 6, 2021.She was born Jan. 2, 1954, in Rumford to Kenneth and Helen (Ferrin.) After graduating in 1972, Lois worked more than half her life as both a Certified Nurses Aide and a Home Health Aide. A career path that reflected her love of always helping others.Lois enjoyed sewing, crafts, baking, traveling and panning for gold. Lois loved animals, especially the fox that would frequent her backyard, tossing food out her window because “he wouldn’t be here if he wasn’t needing.” Her most important things in life were making memories with her family and friends and her unwavering faith. Her favorite bible verse being Psalm 23:1Lois was the much loved mother of Angela and Karen. The cherished grandmother of Hunter, Alexander, Harrison, Gabriella, Aaron and Evan. She was also the dear sister of Lee, Ruthe, Elizabeth, Kenny and Debbie.Family and friends may attend a service for her on Saturday November 20th at the Buckfield Community Church from 11 to 12. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 45 Main Street, South Paris. Online condolences may be shared with her family at http://www.chandlerfunerals.com .In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in her name to either the Buckfield Community Church or BuckfieldFire and Rescue.
