CMCC 59, BRYANT AND STRATTON-ALBANY 47: The Mustangs jumped out to an early lead and held the Bobcats at an arm’s length for a home win in Auburn.

Emily Strachan paced Central Maine Community College with 15 points, including going 8 for 8 from the free-throw line. Safena Te Nana-Williams (12 points) and Kali Thompson (11) also finished in double figures for the Mustangs, who led 17-9 after one quarter.

Saige Roberts scored a game-high 16 points for the Bobcats, and Regina Wallace added 14.

HUSSON 62, UMAINE-FARMINGTON 45: Vanessa Duarte scored a game-high 17 points and Bailey Donovan added 14 points and 15 rebounds to lead the host Eagles (8-4, 3-1 NAC) past the Beavers (6-6, 2-2 NAC) in Bangor.

Alex Bessey and Page Brown each scored 11 points to pace the Beavers.

HUSSON 88, UMAINE-FARMINGTON 78: DJ Bussey led all scorers with 25 as the host Eagles (6-7, 2-2 NAC) knocked off the Beavers (6-4, 2-1 NAC) in Bangor.


Justin Thompson added 15 points for Husson and Brett Cunningham and Justice Kendall pitched in with 14 apiece.

Jack Kane paced the Beavers with 19 points and nine rebounds, Nathan Poulin poured in 17 and Zach Brown added 12.

BRYANT AND STRATTON-ALBANY 66, CMCC 63, OT: Malik Farley’s game-high 16 points weren’t enough as the Mustangs fell to the Bobcats in overtime in Auburn.

Farley also collected seven rebounds and dished out five assists for Central Maine CC, which led 31-29 at halftime. DeMarco McKissic added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Corey David scored 10 points of his own.

Charles Echols and Denali Burton paced the Bobcats with 15 points apiece.

MAINE 4, MERRIMACK 2: The Black Bears (9-13-1, 7-8-1 Hockey East) scored three unanswered goals in the third period to rally past the Warriors (5-17-1, 4-13-1) in Orono.

Jennifer Costa tied the game 1:38 into the third for Maine. Celine Tedebny scored her second goal of the game less than two minutes later to give Maine the lead before Courtney Colarullo added an insurance goal with 3:45 left.

Loryn Porter made 24 saves in goal for the Black Bears. Emma Gorski had 20 saves for the Warriors.
