Recent polling shows a large proportion of the American people — Republicans, Democrats and independents — have no trust in our political system and its democracy. Whose fault is that?

Politicians are quick to blame white supremacy, extremism, racism, Christians, pro life or just us the people. But who really is to blame?

It is these politicians who have created this situation. For the last five years they tried to politically assassinate an elected president. Their Russian collusion delusion fostered a breakdown in any confidence we as citizens may have had in this now corrupt system. The “basket of deplorables” is where we were told we belonged. They destroyed any confidence we may have had.

They lied to us. No wonder many Americans won’t get a COVID vaccination because of their lies.

Now this corrupt political system is collapsing. The result of this will be a total societal collapse and anarchy will rule, as we already see in our cities, if nothing changes. May God have mercy on them, but the people will not have mercy.

Jan. 6, 2021 was terrible, but was just a taste of what will come as a result of their failures and lies. We cannot follow in the footsteps of that day. All of them are to blame and all must go peacefully and allow the hope of a better day in the governance of this great country.

We the people have one shot at this come November if politicians’ corruption doesn’t derail it.
