In search of more horses, the ranch recently bought the mother horse, Freya, at an auction, suspecting she might be pregnant. The foal was born on St. Patrick’s Day and standing within 30 minutes. “It’s exciting and terrifying all at once,” says Jewell, owner of and ranch manager at the center, which offers summer horse riding camps.
