REGION — Telstar Rebels opened up scoring in the first inning, when Wyatt N singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the second inning, Dirigo tied things up at one when an error scored one run for Dirigo.
Dirigo pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Kaeden doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs and Trevor singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Trevor was on the hill for Dirigo. The fireballer allowed seven hits and two runs over five innings, striking out eight.
Bear O toed the rubber for Telstar Rebels. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out six and walking zero. Wyatt threw three innings in relief.
Telstar Rebels racked up nine hits. Brennan W, Wyatt, and Bryson W each collected multiple hits for Telstar Rebels. Brennan went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Telstar Rebels in hits.
Dirigo tallied 11 hits on the day. Trevor, Leighton, and Owen each managed multiple hits for Dirigo.
