Jeannette A. Beaulieu

LEWISTON – Jeannette A. Beaulieu, 83, a resident of Lewiston, passed away peacefully Friday May 20, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital following a short illness.

She was born in Lewiston, March 18, 1939, the daughter of Omer and Yvonne (Desrochers) Desjardins.

Jeannette received her education at Lewiston High School and later in life went to college where she completed two years at University Southern Maine.

She was employed as a function coordinator for 23 years at St. Mary’s Hospital.

She was quite an artist and could draw and paint beautifully, a talent she inherited from her father and passed on to her son. She loved spending time at the ocean. She enjoyed travelling. She went to Arizona several times to study the Hopi Indian Tribe where she began her love for eagles. She loved her garden and always gave away plenty of vegetables to everyone.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Therriault and her significant other Bob Plante, who she called her son-in-law.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Desjardins and his wife Simone.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Randy Therriault and his wife Kasey, Tiffany Lerette and her husband Adam and Jessica Beaulieu and her fiance Jamie Mcconachy; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Audrey and Julianna.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Steven Beaulieu; and her former husband, Perley Beaulieu.

Memorial services honoring Jeannette’s life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday June 1 at the Pinette Dillingham Lynch Funeral Home. Committal prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday May 31 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston.
