W. Scot Moore
OXFORD – W. Scot Moore, 60, passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2022, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born July 4, 1961, in Norway a son of the late Harold Moore. Scot loved his job working for MSAD 17 as a bus driver.
Scot spent many years at Oxford Plains speedway driving and helping many people. He never missed an Oxford 250 and was at the races every weekend watching right up until this past Saturday, he has been a part of the racing community all his life.
He was predeceased by his wife Betty Moore, his father Harold Moore, and son TJ Devlin.
He is survived by his loving children, Michael Moore and his wife Jenn, Susan Johnson and her significant other Wayne, Phil Moore, and Jay Archer and his wife Ann. Grandchildren Johnathan, William, Colin, Jacob, Riley, Tiffany, Holden, and Nick. Great Granddaughter Ahshliee, along with many aunts, uncles, brothers, sister, nieces, and nephews.
