Margarite S. Jordan
YORK – Margarite S. Jordan, 70, of York, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at York Hospital in York, with her siblings at her side. She was born in Farmington on May 30, 1952, the daughter of Hugh Rose and Nancy (Hannon) Rose. She was a graduate of Leavitt High School in Turner. Margarite worked for Livermore Shoe and was housekeeper on York Beach at the Union Bluff Hotel. She loved to be on the road and chat on her CB, it didn’t matter the destination she just enjoyed the ride. She enjoyed crocheting and made some beautiful pieces over the years. She also loved to go visit her family and friends whenever she could. She is survived by her brothers, Linwood Rose and wife Cindy of Washington and Randy Rose and wife Carol of Virginia, her sisters, Tracy Shores and husband David of North Carolina and Darcy Reffner and husband Steve of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. At Margarite’s request there will be no services. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Federal Road, Livermore, Maine.
