I’m writing in support of Bettyann Sheats’ candidacy in the state Senate District 20 election.
The towns of Auburn, Durham, Minot and New Gloucester would be very well served with her as a senatorial legislator.
Bettyann’s experience is perfect for this leadership role: as a West Point graduate, her years of service in the U.S. Army as a Blackhawk pilot, a longtime resident of the District 20 area, a small business owner, 29 years raising a family with her husband in Auburn, and she’s been a Maine state representative.
This makes her readily familiar with the ways of Maine’s governance in Augusta.
I think Bettyann Sheats is the right candidate with the right experience to do an outstanding job as our state senator, and she will get my vote.
I hope others will support her this November with their vote.
